The big money's influence on the market was unmistakable last week.
Stocks went 0-for-5 right out of the starting gate in 2005. The market gods certainly have a sense of humor. Seriously, we couldn't make up this stuff if we tried. It was a surreal and unexpected streak. In any case, welcome to a new year in the markets.
Curiously, nothing changed between the last week of December and the first week of January except for the calendar. Let's review...
