Even though the stock has rallied this year, Tucows is still one of the cheaper ways to play the Internet space.
First, let me tell you what type of services Tucows.com provides.
It sells domain names to individuals and institutions. In fact, Tucows is the largest wholesale domain name registrar in the world, offering domain name services for generic top-level domains (gTLDs) including .com, .net and .org, .info, .biz and .name; and country code top-level domains (ccTLDs) such as .us, .de, .cn, .ca and .uk.
The company also provides both email and email defense services and sells quite a few web publishing tools.
What is amazing it that they have reported nine consecutive quarters of profitability and are growing revenues at a fast pace.
Expect more from this tiny profitable Internet company out of Canada. The fund I provide research for (Frontier Equity) owns shares.
Keep in mind that Tucows will be moving on the AMEX shortly, and that should increase visibility for all the investors out there who do not know about this tiny gem. |
